Everything posted in the main Library is considered canon for the Friends in High Places board. It describes the rules of the Verses, how things work, what factions there are, etc.
In general, everything written up for the Friends/High Council War here is true here on FIHP. Unless something on the TV Tropes pages is specifically contradicted here, consider it to be canon.
Of course, that means there are going to be texts here that contradict the F/HC pages, or explain things in more detail, or just generally summarize and clarify things. Anyone may contribute an essay to the Library. To do so, simply write it up (make sure you proofread and save a copy of it!) and submit it to the Editor's Desk. The staff will review what you've written, then PM you with one of the following:
Accept
Reject
Return with Request for Modification
If your essay is Accepted, congrats! It will be moved to the Library proper and become part of FIHP's official canon.
If it is Rejected, you will be sent an explanation as to why and the essay will be deleted.
If you are asked to modify your essay, you will be sent an explanation as to what needs modifying and why. Once you make the appropriate edits, you can resubmit your essay for another review. The staff is always happy to discuss your essay with you if you have questions.
Please take note: Poorly-written essays, especially those with many spelling and grammar issues, will probably be rejected regardless of content. Write your essay well to ensure it gets the attention it deserves!
